Topic: Happy 13th, MF&TVV!
13 has just become a very lucky number today!
Because that's how many years to the day (a full 31 years after "The Monkees In A Ghost Town" [prod. #4704] aired first-run on NBC as Episode No. 7 of The Monkees television series) that the seeds of a new Monkees fansite were sown, and of course would fully blossom over the years. I, Aaron Handy III, a Commercial Art/Visual Communications major at Delgado Community College, armed myself with a free account @ Tripod, settled down in in a computer lab, took keyboard in hand and gave life to The Monkees Film & TV Vault, a Monkees fan page (loosely patterned after Louis Colli's The Monkees Music Vault) which is a comprehensive guide to The Monkees' filmed work, on TV and the big screen, the product of 10+ long years' worth of research, and (for my money) the first-ever fully detailed account of The Monkees' film and television history.
As always, a deeply felt thanks to all of you, for all your love, support, and many invaluable contributions which has guaranteed a great 13 years on The World Wide Web. It has been a magnificent labour of love, and I'm very happy you have enjoyed it as much as I have had building it and giving it to you. Monkeemania forever!
