And we observe 50 years since the initial NBC-TV "color-cast" of this week's Featured Monkees Episode, No. 9, “The Chaperone” (prod. #4711, aired on NBC November 7, 1966). (Please forgive the weeklong delay; I would have featured Episode No. 8, “Don't Look A Gift Horse In The Mouth” [prod. #4708, aired on NBC October 31, 1966], in honor of its 50th birthday last week, but couldn't due to Tripod's server undergoing [yet another!!] upgrade.)
