Final MF&TVV Updates For The Year 2014 AD
Mood:  celebratory
Topic: Happy Monkee New Year!!

With another Christmas the books and The Year 2014 AD in the home stretch, The Monkees Film & TV Vault's Xmas page is swapped out in favor of its New Year's page with a new picture of Peter Tork's New Year's act from "The Monkees In Texas" and an indication of The Monkees television series' upcoming 40th anniversary in syndication (4 trade ads from Boradcasting Magazine), and Episode No. 6, “The Success Story” (prod. #4710, aired on NBC October 17, 1966 and May 29, 1967), once again takes honors as the last Featured Monkees Episode of The Year.

As always, here's wishing you and yours a safe, healthy...

First MF&TVV Update For The Year Of 2010
Topic: Happy Monkee New Year!!

Happy 2010, Monkeemavens! Thanks for making 2009 another good one for The Monkees Film & TV Vault; here's hoping this year's a better one!

For Monkeemavens, we observe this year the 40th anniversary of the initial the releases of the album Changes (#COS-119, issued 5/70) and the single "Oh My My" b/w/ "I Love You Better" (both of which not to involve long-departed Peter Tork or Michael Nesmith). It's also the 40th Anniversary of the dissolution of the original Monkees, which, by this time, had been reduced to a 2-man duet (David Jones and Micky Dolenz).

For its first update of the year, we welcome the return of the original front page of The MF&TVV, with a special notice mentioning the 35th Anniversary of The Monkees television series' syndicated debut.
