AUGUST 28, 1967

“Monkee Mother”, Episode No. 27 of The Monkees (prod. #4709, aired on NBC March 20, 1967), was repeated @ 7:30 p.m. EDT on NBC, sponsored by Kellogg's.

This was the last official telecast of The Monkees television series for its first season on NBC. It was one of 3 episodes to be rerun in summer 1967 not to be redubbed with new music from The Monkees' 3rd and 4th singles and their 3rd album; the others were "The Son Of A Gypsy" (June 12, 1967) and "Here Come The Monkees" (Original Pilot Film) (Aug. 7, 1967).
