In Memoriam: LAWRENCE SHELDON GELMAN (1930–2021)

#SadBulletin: It has been established that another Monkees guest actor, Lawrence Sheldon "Larry" Gelman, has recently died, as of last Monday, June 7, at age 90. Gelman, best known to viewers as Vincent "Vinnie" Barella on The Odd Couple (ABC, 1970-75) and Dr. Bernie Tupperman on The Bob Newhart Show (CBS, 1972-78), appeared on The Monkees TV series as the Director in Episode #12, “I've Got A Little Song Here” (#4707), the Stage Manager in Episode No. 23, "Captain Crocodile" (#4730), and the Salesman in Episode No. 47, "The Monkees Christmas Show" (a.k.a. "The Christmas Story")" (#4746).
