The sponsors of the week were Walt Disney Productions (The One And Only, Genuine, Original Family Band [Buena Vista, 1968]), Ban and Hi-C, and the commercials shown were: Ban, Clairol Midnight Sun, and Hi-C.

JULY 7, 1975

 HEAD (prod. #8888), the 1968 Columbia Picture starring that popular TV rockband The Monkees, was rerun on CBS @ 11:30 Eastern/10:30 Central as part of its CBS Late Movie, opposite The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson on NBC and The Wide World of Mystery on ABC. Its initial Late Movie broadcast on CBS took place on December 30, 1974, coinciding with Michael Nesmith's 32nd birthday and David Jones' 29th; this renetworkcast coincided with the 35th birthday of ex-Beatle drummer Ringo Starr, who's mentioned in the movie.

This week's Featured Monkees Episode is No. 52, "The Devil And Peter Tork" (prod. #4737, aired on NBC February 5 and July 29, 1968). Also added a showtime chart detailing the impending marathon of The Monkees TV series on The MeTV Sunday Block Party (logo and all) on Pleasant Valley Sunday, July 10, and added Additional Page Revision dates to "The Picture Frame" (a.k.a. "The Bank Robbery") and the Revised Final Draft date to "I Was A 99-lb. Weakling" (a.k.a. "Physical Culture").

“The Spy Who Came In From The Cool”, Episode No. 5 of The Monkees (prod. #4702, aired on NBC October 10, 1966 and June 19, 1967), was repeated @ noon EDT on CBS, with a new song added: "All Alone In The Dark," written by Steven Soles and Ned W. Albright.

This third and final reairing took place 6 years to the day it compleeted production. Also on this date, another popular Screen Gems sitcom, Bewitched, formally ended its original network run on ABC-TV after 8 seasons, with a repeat of the December 29, 1971 episode "Adam, Washout Or Warlock," which featured Monkee guest Diana Chesney (“The Chaperone”).
