The Featured Monkees Episode Of The Week is No. 4, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Kidnappers” (prod. #4703, aired on NBC October 3, 1966 and May 15, 1967).
And if you've been checking the site out for a day and a half, you will notice that in the main episode, movie, TV and front pages, the once-omnipresent fonts Tahoma and Verdana have been compleetly eliminated (save for The MF&TVV Blog) to put further emphasis on the Monkees film and TV "onscreen credit" font, Franklin Gothic (Condensed, Medium and Book). Also, in all the TV episode, movie and TV special pages, all the Notes sections (Production, Trivia and Guest Cast) and related (Inconsitencies, Bloopers, etc.), the Font Size has been kicked up a point (10pt to 11pt) to make them all more readable. The reason: as we near the finish line of The Monkees' Emerald Anniversary year, 2021, the following year, 2022, is primed for the observance of another major milestone: a year in which we celebrate---Great Gosh A'Mighty, has it been that long?!---25 years since I first took keyboard in hand and gave life to that comprehensive guide to The Monkees' filmed work, on TV and the big screen we commonly know and love as The Monkees Film & TV Vault! Here is a sneak peek of its Silver Anniversary masthead:
Episode No. 35, "Everywhere A Sheik Sheik" (prod. #4749, aired on NBC September 25, 1967 and April 8, 1968), is this week's Featured Monkees Episode. Also added extra Filming Location data to Hey Hey It's The Monkees, and updated a Guest Cast Note in "Some Like It Lukewarm" (a.k.a. "The Band Contest").
Today is another quite special Pleasant Valley Sunday!
It is a Pleasant Valley Sunday which we observe the milestone of The Monkees Film & TV Vault's 24th trip around the WWW sun. As a result, the MF&TVV Halloween page is set aside for the year early in favor of devoting a full week to celebrate this site's anniversary with its annual throwback page boasting its original background and font color, with The Featured Monkees Episode Of The Week being “The Monkees In A Ghost Town” (prod. #4704, aired on NBC October 24, 1966 and July 17, 1967), Episode No. 7 of The Monkees, which aired a good 31 years to the day I first put The Monkees Film TV & Vault into being.
As usual, a big thanks to all of you surfers and fellow Monkeedevotees for your support and loyalty which had helped this site go, flow, grow, drive, thrive and survive thru its near-quarter century of existence on The Internet.

Episode No. 50, "The Monstrous Monkee Mash" (prod. #4767, aired on NBC January 22 and June 8, 1968), is The Featured Monkees Episode Of Scary Stuff!!! Of The Week.
And for the first time since its inception, the front page of this very Monkees Film & TV Vault now displays 2 extra vintage magazine covers of The Monkees under the photos of their TV Guide appearances, which represents their TV series' two seasons. These covers, of the August 1968 issue of Flip Teen Magazine and the April 12-18, 1969 issue of the Chicago Tribune TV Week, promote their movie HEAD and TV special 33⅓ Revolutions Per Monkee, respectively.
With extreme thanks to Melanie Mitchell, author of Monkee Magic: a Book about a TV Show about a Band, two more Final Draft script dates have been added, to "I Was A 99-lb. Weakling" (a.k.a. "Physical Culture") and "Hillbilly Honeymoon" (a.k.a. "Double Barrel Shotgun Wedding"). Also, another Final Draft script date has been found and added, to "The Monkees Marooned".
Attention! To those with scripts of these episodes of The Monkees in their collection, I seek to add Final Draft dates (Revised or otherwise) of the remaining following: "The Monkee's Paw" (#4740), "The Monkees Christmas Show" (a.k.a. "The Christmas Story") (#4746), “The Monkees On Tour” (#4753), "The Card-Carrying Red Shoes" (#4766), "The Monstrous Monkee Mash" (#4767), and "The Monkees In Paris" (a.k.a. "The Paris Show") (#4771).
